AquSag Technologies is hiring Junior Video Annotation Specialists to support the training of next-generation AI models. In this role, you will review short videos, break them into meaningful action segments, write simple and accurate descriptions of what is happening, and verify AI-generated captions using project guidelines.
No prior annotation experience is required. We provide the training needed to perform the work successfully. We are looking for people with strong attention to detail, good written English, and the ability to follow detailed instructions consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Watch short video clips and understand the activities being performed.
- Divide videos into individual action segments using accurate timestamps.
- Write clear and concise English descriptions for actions shown in each segment.
- Review AI-generated captions and make corrections where required.
- Follow detailed annotation guidelines consistently across every task.
- Meet daily productivity and quality expectations.
- Report unclear scenarios or guideline issues whenever necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Good written English.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable performing repetitive, detail-oriented work.
- Ability to follow written instructions accurately and repeatedly with focus
- Basic computer skills and confidence using web-based applications.
- No prior experience required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on online projects, data annotation, content review, transcription, or similar work is an advantage but not required.
- Recent graduates and freshers are encouraged to apply.
Equipment & Technical Requirements
- Laptop or desktop computer.
- Keyboard and mouse.
- Working webcam (mandatory). Your webcam must be functional throughout your engagement as random quality and compliance audits may be conducted.
- Stable broadband internet connection.
- Reliable internet or power backup to avoid interruptions while working on tasks.
- Quiet working environment.
- Ability to work a structured 8-hour workday. This role requires you to work during your assigned shift and is not designed for work to be split into short sessions throughout the day.
Selection Process
The complete application and assessment process is conducted entirely online.
Step 1: Eligibility Check
Complete a short eligibility form that takes about one minute. This helps us confirm that you meet the basic requirements for the role.
Step 2: English Grammar Assessment
If you are eligible, you will receive a timed online English grammar assessment. This test evaluates the basic English skills required for the project.
Step 3: Typing and Mouse Accuracy Test
If you clear the English test, you will move to a 2-minute typing and mouse accuracy test.
Step 4: Mandatory Training & Practice Tasks
Candidates who pass the previous test will receive login credentials for the annotation platform.
Before taking the final assessment, every candidate must complete the training and practice tasks which are allocated to each from the same pool of practice tasks. These are standardized assessment exercises provided to every applicant to help you learn the VLA process and platform. They are not production or client work.
Your quality score is shown immediately after each practice task. Once you achieve the required quality score and feel confident with the process, you can proceed to the final assessment.
Step 5: Final VLA Assessment
Complete the final online annotation assessment.
The team will review the score and update you on the onboarding.
Step 6: Onboarding
Every candidate who achieves the required passing score will be selected for onboarding.

- Salary discussion
- Contract signing
- Onboarding process
Candidates who do not achieve the required passing score will not be able to proceed further in the hiring process and the onboarding will be on the basis of who clears assessment first, not who applied first.
